The winning team of The Student Sustainable Design Competition is from our home town, Philadelphia! Katie Goodman, Liz Kahn, Jennifer Madden and Sarah Martin from Drexel University won First Place for their entry, The Drexel Smart House.
The Student Sustainable Design Competition celebrates original sustainable design and rewards those individuals whose projects demonstrate consistent, creative sustainable principles. The winning entry, the Drexel Smart House, is a multidisciplinary student design project that transforms an existing urban home into a sustainable living laboratory that consists of a community resource center, student housing and classrooms.
Other winners include Micaela Silva Merea, from the University of Texas at San Antonio for the Link Oil and Gas Design and Biljana Andonovski, from Park University for the Infinity Mammography Clinic.
